Bonus post Wednesday! As a newish beauty lover I don’t have an extensive makeup collection, but I have accumulated a few pieces that I quite enjoy and wanted to share them with you. Let’s start with blushes, shall we?
I’m also going to include more photos in this post, let me know if you like that or not!
Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable $2.99 at Ulta
This is the perfect everyday subtle blush and for such an affordable price! Essence started out my current blush collection when I wanted a single blush that would work for all occasions.
E.L.F. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji $3.00 on E.L.F’s website
Love the blush in this duo! It has great color payoff without being too much. I do like the bronzer, but I have to use a bit of a lighter hand with it. I don’t find it too orange on my very pale skin unless I use too much, just a little bit is all you need!
Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose $7.99 on Drugstore.com
How gorgeous is this?? The rose blush is a bit more expensive than my other items so far but you get SO much product! Even if I use this every day I will probably never run out. I think Tati from Youtube describes this blush best: “I never have a bad blush day with these.” I certainly agree with her. This color is just so great for every day and it goes on like a dream! There’s a reason it was my top blush pick of 2015!
E.L.F. Powder Blush Palette in Light $6 on E.L.F.’s website
I had my eye on this palette the minute it was released! I had been looking for some shade variety in my collection, but didn’t want to spend a lot or take up too much space. I really love the 3 blush colors, however I haven’t tried out the bronzer too much. I think it’s a bit too orange for my skin tone. The bottom right color looks very shimmery but I’ve found that the sparkle doesn’t really show up on the skin.
Milani Baked Powder Blush in Luminoso $7.49 on Drugstore.com
The much hyped luminoso! This blush has been raved about in the beauty community for such a long time so I HAD to try it out! I think I’m going to get much more use out of this in the summer, it’s a very light peachy/golden color. I’ve actually been getting more use out of this as a highlighter/blush topper this fall and winter. I do like the formula so I’m interested in trying other colors in the baked blush line.
And that concludes my blush collection! It’s a modest one but I really enjoy it.
Let me know what your favorite blushes are and I might just pick some of them up!
