March TBR

March TBR

Last Wednesday I posted about the books I read in February, now let’s talk about what I plan on reading in March!

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

I just finished this audio book yesterday! This is a very interesting and educational read, if you’re interested in learning some history about our world I recommend it! The author is a historian who combines historical facts with a little bit of philosophy.

Winter by Marissa Meyer

I also finished this book yesterday! Don’t worry, I’ll get to books I haven’t read next. I’ll do a more in depth review in my March Wrap Up at the end of the month, keep an eye out for it! I really do recommend this series to anyone who enjoys sci-fi and fairy tales.

The Color Purple by Alice Walker

This is the February pick in Emma Watson’s book club on Goodreads. My goal this year is to read all the 2016 picks from this book club!

Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Hall

It’s being adapted into a movie! I always prefer to read the book before seeing the movie.

The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

Oh I am just so ready to read this! I am forever a lover of the Shadowhunter world and want to read everything Cassandra Clare puts out!

A Fighting Chance by Elizabeth Warren

I am working on becoming more knowledgeable about politics and I have seen this book recommended in several circles of the internet.

Honorable Mention:

11/22/63 by Stephen King

I want to start watching the show on Hulu, but I gotta read the book first! For those of you who don’t know, I actually live in Dallas. As this book (and the real events it takes inspiration from) takes place in my city I am pretty interested to check it out.

Let me know what you plan on reading this month, I’m always interested to hear about it!
