June TBR

Happy Thursday Bookish Babes! Earlier this week we chatted about the books I read during May so now let’s get to what I plan on reading in June!

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

I wanted to read this book before the movie came out and I finally got off the long waiting list at the library! Since I’m putting this list up in the middle of June I’ve actually already finished this one…stay tuned for my wrap up to see my thoughts!

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill

Did you know that Stephen King has a son who is an author, in fact he has two! Joe Hill has followed in the footsteps of his father with this book and (spoiler alert) I LOVE it! This is another one I’ve already finished, check back for my review on it.

The Boy with Words by C.E. Wilson

This author actually contacted me through my Goodreads account and asked if I would review her book in exchange for a free copy. I just started reading this and I am SO intrigued so far!

The Color Purple by Alice Walker

This is the February pick for Emma Watson’s book club. My goal is to read all of this years selections for this club before the end of 2016, but I’m not too concerned about reading them during the month they are assigned.

The Young Elites by Marie Lu

The second book in this series is one of the January picks for the Addicted to YA book club. Obviously I need to read the first one before getting to the second one! I’m hoping to get off the library waiting list for this one soon.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

This is being developed into a movie that will be coming out October 2016 staring Liam Neeson, Toby Kebbell, Felicity Jones, and Sigourney Weaver! I definitely want to read this one before seeing the movie. Have you read this, what did you think?

What is everyone reading this month? I would love to chat about it in the comments or on any of these platforms:
