Happy Friday Bookish Babes! Last month I got my first Sephora Play Box which I really enjoyed so I am super excited to share the June box with you guys! Just like last month this post will be more of a first impressions and in 2 weeks I will post a full review of the products.
This was the first item I was drawn to when I opened this month’s box. I have yet to try any Becca products and I’ve heard great things about this primer! I am oily so I’m worried that it will be too glowy for my skin type.
I’m not very experienced with bronzers and I definitely haven’t tried one in liquid form, so I’m curious to test this out. My skin is pretty fair so we’ll see if this ends up being to orange on me. If you have any suggestions for good bronzers let me know in the comments!
This is an interesting product from Bumble and Bumble. You’re supposed to use this to style hair without blow drying it. I have pretty fine/thin hair and depend on my blow dryer for good volume, so I’m a bit skeptical about this. This product also has UVA and UVB filters to protect your hair from the sun, perfect for summer!
Ya’ll…this sunscreen is $32 for 1.7 oz….I just don’t think I could bring myself to spend that much on a sunscreen. However, I have heard some people rave about this product so I am excited to try it. According to the Sephora website this does have some awesome ingredients including maracuja, red algae, soybean, apple, and honeysuckle extracts that deliver good benefits to your skin such as firming, brightening, and toning.
I’ve never been one to be interested in spending money on high end mascaras…but I won’t complain about getting to sample some! There are pretty mixed reviews on this item so we’ll see how it turns out…stay tuned!
Tocca is a brand I have been wanting to try for some time. This smells SOOOO good! Notes include: Italian Bergamot, Grapefruit Leaves, Green Pear, Apple, Ivory Gardenia, Crushed Violet Petals, Jasmine, Tuberose, Blue Iris, Blonde Wood, White Musk. I love feminine scents that contain a bit of musk in them. I do wish these samples came with a spray nozzle though…would make my life infinitely easier.
What are you most interested in from the Sephora Play box this month? Let me know in the comments, I love to chat with you guys!
