Happy Tuesday Bookish Babes! We are continuing the week of every day posts (Monday-Friday) with my July TBR. If you’re interested in seeing my other TBR posts you can check them out here.
For those unfamiliar with my version of a TBR (to be read) list, this is where I discuss the top 6 books that I plan on reading next. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean I will be reading all of these in the next month, it’s more like a narrowed down list to pull from when I’m ready to pick up a new book. Let’s get started, shall we?
For those who have been following my past TBR posts this has been a frequent pick. My husband and I started this audio book during a 16 hour road trip, but we haven’t quite finished it yet. We have just a small little bit left, we really just need to sit down and listen to it. (spoiler…I LOVE this book).
If you read my 2016 Reading Goals post you’ll know that I plan on reading all of Emma Watson’s book club picks for 2016, although not necessarily in the months they are designated. The Color Purple is the February pick and I’m hoping to like this one more than the last one I read.
Another one of my reading goals for the year to is to pick 1 out of the 4 books picked every month for the Addicted to YA book club. The second book (The Rose Society) in this series was picked for January this year, but I need to read the The Young Elites first of course!
I am definitely one of those people who prefer to read the book before the movie, and the next 3 books on my TBR will be movies coming out this year. This one is releasing in September starring Jamie Dornan and Aaron Paul.
This movie will be coming out in October, just in time for Halloween! Another book to movie adaptation with a killer cast: Felicity Jones, Sigourney Weaver, and Liam Neeson. I’ve been wanted to check out some Patrick Ness, so I’m excited for this one!
This one is also coming out in September and has some very reputable actors: Gemma Arterton and Glenn Close. I honestly had no idea this was being made into a movie before the trailer dropped. This was already on my ever expanding to read list, but the trailer definitely intrigued me even more.
