September TBR

Happy Friday my Bookish Babes! Give yourself a pat on the back for making it to the weekend, WOO!

Yesterday I posted my August reading wrap up and today I’m here to talk about the books I hope to read in September!

Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff: Every once in awhile I’ll pick up a self help book and my book of choice this time was about self compassion. I’m about halfway through this one and I am enjoying it. We can all be a little bit kinder to ourselves

The Girl on the Train by Paula HawkinsI’m reading this one before the movie comes out in October. There has been quite a bit of hype surrounding this so I am super intrigued about it. I am already reading this and I find it a bit boring so far and quite predictable as well, although I’ve heard the ended is super unexpected so I’m excited about that.

Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms #1) by Morgan RhodesThis is a Addicted to YA book club pick and I honestly don’t know too much about it. However I do know it’s a fantasy sand I’m always up for that genre!

The Young Elites (The Young Elites #1) by Marie LuThis has been on my to read list for quite a long time, but I do think I’ll finally get to it this month! This is another one from the Addicted to YA book club and I’m very excited to check it out.

Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas D. KristofThis is a pick for the Emma Watson book club. I don’t know much about this one, but I am all about empowering women and am intrigued by it.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. RowlingAnother one I want to read before the movie comes out this year. This is a super short read but I’m so ready to re immerse myself in the Harry Potter world!

Come chat with me about what books you’re reading this month in the comments or on any of these social media sites!

  1. Great choices! I also have to read Falling Kingdoms and Fantastic Beasts! Except I won’t be reading them during September as I leave in 3 days to go to Italy for two weeks, so I’m basically out of reading time haha. Enjoyed your list though!!
