October TBR

Happy Halloween season Bookish Babes! Normally this month would be full of super creepy books, however I’m so far behind on my reading goals for the year I’ll be spending the month playing catch up. I do have a spooky TBR I’ll be posting soon that includes all of my top anticipated halloween books!

Untitled Beauty by C.E. WilsonThis book was sent to me for review by the author. I’ve read a couple of her other books The Boy with Words & This is Me and enjoyed them. I’ll be posting a full review of this later in the week, so be sure to check back!

A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) by V.E. SchwabI’ve heard so many great things about this series! I don’t know much about it, just that it involves magicians which I am all about.

The Argonauts by Maggie NelsonThis is an Emma Watson book club pick. So far I haven’t really enjoyed the book she’s selected so I’m hoping this one will be more my taste.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. RowlingI definitely want to read this one before the movie comes out! The trailers look absolutely fantastic and I am dying to get back into the Harry Potter world. I haven’t read any Harry Potter books outside the original seven and I’m curious about how this one will be.

The Siren by Kiera CassI really don’t know much about this one…but it was an Addicted to YA book club pick and I’m super curious about it. I’ve never read any books about sirens so this will be outside of my normal wheelhouse which is something I’ve been trying to do more of lately.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik I’m noticing there’s a lot of fantasy picks on my TBR this month…and I’m not mad about it. Wizards and badass female characters? Yes please! I’ve heard a decent bit of buzz about this book and I’m really hoping it lives up to the hype!

What are you guys reading this month?? I would love to chat about them!
