Glam Witch – Halloween 2016

Happy Halloween season Bookish Babes! Today I wanted to share my favorite Glam Witch look and the products I used for it.

The Eyes

I started by priming my eyes with LORAC Behind the Scenes Eye Primer and used tape to help me with creating the sharp line I wanted for this look. For a neutral crease shade I used Force of Nature from the TARTE Tartelette Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette. To make the lid shade more intense I wet my brush with the NYX COSMETICS Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray and used Garnet from the LORAC PRO Palette on the inner 2 thirds of my lid for that beautiful pop of red. To deepen up the outer corner I used Fashionista from the Tartelette palette. That’s it for the eyeshadow! Pretty simple really, then all I had to do was remove the tape to reveal the crisp line I was looking for.

To finish up the eyes I used ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown on my brows. I added some Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in trooper to hide the the lash band on the false eyelashes I’ll be using. Speaking of false lashes this was the very first time I ever used any! Took me a bit to get the hang of it but I used the Ardell Glamour lashes in #122 black along with the Ardell Lashgrip Strip Adhesive. To blend in my natural lashes with the Ardells I used BENEFIT COSMETICS Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara on my top and bottom lashes.

The Face

I kept the face fairly simple…besides using three different concealers. Before putting on foundation I wanted to cancel out redness from some acne and scarring so I used the e.l.f. HD Lifting Concealer in green. Once that was all blended in I applied my favorite long lasting foundation L’ORÉAL Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation in Classic Ivory. To further cover up blemishes I used the MAYBELLINE Fit Me Concealer in Light and for my under eye area I used the IT COSMETICS Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in Light for a highlighted effect. For setting my under eyes and entire face I used MAYBELLINE Fit Me Set + Smooth Pressed Powder and then contoured with NYX COSMETICS HD Blush in Taupe. The NYX blush in taupe is absolutely perfect for us fair ladies! I didn’t want to add any blush for this look, I really liked it with just the contour. However, I did apply a subtle highlight with e.l.f. Baked Blush in Pinktastic.

EDIT: OMG I didn’t even tell you guys what lipstick this is! It’s MAYBELLINE Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Burgundy Blush. This isn’t completely transfer proof however it won’t wear off and leave a faded look throughout a day of eating and drinking!

That completes this Glam Witch look! Of course this can also double as a fabulously vampy fall look. I hope you enjoyed this, let me know if you have any requests for other looks!
